Product Selection
After the Requirements Phase has been completed and an Architectural Solution documented, the time comes to perform the Product Selection. This brings in a complex, rigorous and often a very time consuming process of searching for the best product or set of products at the best price. It should be noted that the Product Selection process will often run concurrent with the Requirements and Architectural phases and may be cyclic in nature, or not a one time through deal.
This Product Selection process may include a Request For Information (RFI), Request For price Quotes (RFQ) and/or the Request For a formal Proposal (RFP). ObjectTel can handle this process with total honesty and no bias.
Product selection is as important a process as the previous two (Requirements and Architectural Solution). No short cuts can be afforded at this point. The search is on to locate the best products for the best price.
